DESCRIPTION:The sixth annual Worship on Wednesdays begins on Wednesday\, June 13\, at 7:00 pm. This is a neighborhood gathering to hear some of the best Praise Bands in the Lehigh Valley. This summer’s bands include\, SWIM from Emmanuel Lutheran Church\, Bath who will kick off this years event. Other bands include Horizon Praise Band\, REZ Music Ministry\, The Patriotic Brass Band\, Remnant Sound Worship Band\, Glorious Day and West End Collaborative Church Choirs\, The Blend\, 10:10\, Calvary Moravian Church\, and Grace Notes Big Band. WOW concludes on August 22 with the annual Peach Festival and solo artist\, Bobby Siegfried. Bring a friend and a lawn chair. Refreshments will be served following the service. A free will offering will be taken to go to various mission programs selected by the bands.

DESCRIPTION:The historic Zion’s Liberty Bell Church in downtown Allentown\, 620 W. Hamilton Street\, celebrates Patriots Sunday on May 27\, 2018 at their 10:30 worship service. This special church service is held annually to commemorate Lehigh County’s “Declaration of Independence” enacted on May 27\, 1776. This year’s patriotic service features the Rev. Joshua Knappenberger\, a US Army veteran\, who until 2014 served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Commander in Chief’s Guard\, a ceremonial unit wearing Colonial uniforms and carrying Brown Bess muskets. The historic portion of the service features a worship service based on Colonial music and prayers\, as well as re-enactors from the 6th Pennsylvania Regiment who provide a color guard for the service and a memorial salute with authentic Revolutionary era muskets immediately following the service in front of the church on Hamilton Street. DESCRIPTION:Fritz Memorial UMC is putting on a fund raising Dinner and Basket raffle\, to bring help to the still suffering in Puerto Rico.  The date is Saturday\, April 28 with three seatings: at 4:00 pm\, 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm.  Walk ins and takeout are also welcome.  The tickets are $10 for persons twelve and over\, $8 for five to eleven\, and under 5 free.  Tickets can be obtained by phoning the Church at 610-866-1515 for our delicious Puerto Rican fare!  We are located on the south side of Bethlehem at 303 West Packer Ave.and Montclair St.\, one block up from Ahart’s Market.
