DESCRIPTION:The Liberty Bell Museum is celebrating the one-hundredth anniversary of women gaining the right to vote in the United States. Phillips Armstrong will speak to the impact this one-hundred-year-old movement has had on the decades since women’s voting was approved and ratified by legislators. The event is being held in conjunction with Downtown Allentown’s monthly 3rd Thursday event\, admission to the museum is free. Doors will open at 4:30 pm and the speaker’s presentation will begin promptly at 5:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served. Parking is available on-street or at the community Parking Deck\, located at 6th and Walnut streets.
