WJCS 89.3 FM is a non-commercial radio station owned and operated by Beacon Broadcasting Corporation, registered as a Pa. non-profit organization as well as an IRS 501(C)3 approved organization.

Our History
Committed to presenting the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ, WJCS has been serving the Lehigh Valley since 1996. In 1990, several local individuals formed a not-for-profit corporation called Beacon Broadcasting with the dream of putting a Christian radio station on the air in the Lehigh Valley. Through a remarkable series of events which could only be attributed to God's provision, an FCC license was obtained and WJCS was able to begin broadcasting.

Our Mission
The mission of WJCS 89.3 FM is to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to the people of the Lehigh Valley; teach them to become His disciples, and encourage them to exalt and serve Him in local church fellowships. We believe that the Bible has the answer to every problem of modern life--and that answer comes through having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That's Good News! In an age of unending bad news, it's refreshing to know that on WJCS, you'll hear Good News all the time!
