Thanks you for your patience over the past few weeks as we experienced some greater than normal computer problems.   We receive 85% of our programming from Moody Broadcast Network in Chicago.  However, many of these programs are recorded and played in a different time slot to accomodate the broadcast of several programs that are not part of Moody's offering.  When we have a problem with our broadcast computer, the station ID's, replays of recorded programs, weather forcasts, etc. just do not happen as scheduled.  As a result, there is no modification to the feed from Moody so we get ID's from WJSO, Pikeville and programs either not played or in a different time slot.  We will make every attempt to intervene manually, but since we do not have around the clock staff available, manual announcements are made "upon availability of station personnel."

We believe the replacement of some hard drives have solved the problem, but as with any computer, some unexpected file problems pop up and an need to be fixed.  Many of these files are deleted or corrupted and there is no way to determine this until the file is ready to play.

Please be assured that even though the ID or program scheduled isn't playing what you are accustomed to hearing at that time, WJCS is not planning on any major changes, is not for sale, or anticipating any other major changes.  Moody makes program changes in May and October and they affect our program schedule, but we will announce the changes in advance.
